Queen Of Bass Ayah Marar Releases First US Single “Go Hard” Today

Ayah Marar’s latest single “Go Hard” is available today on iTunes via Radikal Records (http://radikal.com).

Ayah Marar’s debut album “The Real,” released in the UK last year, has propelled her to the forefront of the bass music scene. Championed by the likes of Q Magazine (four stars), Dazed Digital, Vibe, Mixmag, Timeout and The Sun who have labelled her the “Queen Of Bass,” it’s clear that Ayah’s army of supporters is ever growing.

Now for the first time, Ayah will see her latest single “Go Hard” released in the US and Canada via Radikal Records. The single is available on iTunes and the Radikal website (http://radikal.com) today. The single is accompanied by two remixes from Destro and Ellington and coincides with the debut of a band new, action packed, superhero-esque animated music video.

“Go Hard” should serve as a terrific introduction for Ayah to EDM music fans all over the North American continent, with more singles and a full release of “The Real” to come in the summer of 2013 via Radikal Records.

Ayah isn’t one to shy away from her love for the club and admits that raving is engraved in her soul. “Go Hard” pays homage to her dance floor roots and its bashy, bold nature oozes with the Jordan-born girl’s infectious attitude. Featuring close friend and fellow tour companion Illaman, “Go Hard” is packed with buoyant percussion and a sensually smooth bassline.

To say Ms. Marar has been busy would be an understatement. Since the start of the year Ayah’s been awarded “Best Female Artist” at The National Drum & Bass Awards, she’s started her own show on BBC Radio 1xtra, toured Europe, and recently signed a deal with US record label, Radikal Records. If all that wasn’t enough, Ayah still finds time to run her own label, Hussle Girl, which continues to open doors for new, aspiring artists.

Ayah has also been enjoying the incredible response to her album track with Calvin Harris, “Thinking About You,” which went to #1 in the Hype Machine last year. Ayah and Calvin’s friendship can be traced far back and their fans will be extremely excited to hear that they’re getting back in the studio together very soon.

New EP From A Genuine Freakshow To Hit US And Canada Via OK! Good Records On April 9th

A Genuine Freakshow’s latest EP, “Where The River Bends,” will be released on April 9th in digital format via OK! Good Records.

On April 9th, UK seven-piece, A Genuine Freakshow, will see their latest EP “Where The River Bends” released in the US and Canada via OK! Good Records on iTunes, Amazon and other music streaming services. The 4 track EP is also available right now on the OK! Good Records website, streaming for free or purchasable as a digital download.

A Genuine Freakshow is an artful blend of pop sensibility, icy soundscapes and blistering walls of noise. Their sound, while impressively focused, covers a range of musical staples, with the group letting influences from Mew to Sigur Ros and The National surface throughout.

Their songs capture quirky and catchy pop akin to Pulp in their pomp and grandeur – and even geeky charm. This ability to combine the poppy elements of indie rock whilst maintaining an intricate, delicate soul is what they do best. With a line-up that adds violin, cello and trumpet to the standard rock four-piece of guitar, bass, drums and vocals, their live shows are a demonstration in how to do epic without slipping into pompous.

After playing over 150 headline and festival shows since the release of debut album “Oftentimes” in late 2010 (later released by OK! Good Records in early 2012), April 2012 saw the band take a step away from the road and head to the studio with long-term collaborator and producer Jordan Fish to record a handful of new songs the band had written and been performing live over the previous summer.

Originally planned to be part of a new album, the songs on “Where The River Bends” ended up being a complete story on their own, so the band decided to release their first brand new music in almost three years.

Lee Dagger and Freedah Soul Team Up For New Single “Free Me” Out April 16

The new single from Lee Dagger featuring Freedah Soul is due for release on April 16th via Radikal Records.

UK based DJ/producer/songwriter Lee Dagger is well known as one half of the production team known as Bimbo Jones. For his latest track however, Lee has teamed up with Swedish singer-songwriter Freedah Soul to produce “Free Me.”

The full single package will be released by Radikal Records digitally in the US and Canada, available on iTunes, Beatport and other streaming services on April 16. In addition, “Free Me” is currently available on the Radikal Records website (http://radikal.com).

“Free Me” is a well travelled song that started out as an instrumental called “System Blue,” written by Lee whilst DJ’ing around Australia. Now featuring a gutsy vocal line by Swedish vocalist and songwriter/producer Freedah Soul, “Free Me” is set to be a go-to track for Lee in his DJ gigs everywhere from Russia to Miami, and Prague to Sydney.

Along with the original mixes is the slamming new remix by LA-based X-Vertigo, whose remix of R.E.M.’s Losing My Religion was hammered by Tiësto.

Look out for many more future collaborations between the “Dagger and Soul” brand as this monster sets the tone for an explosive partnership.

Australian DJ/Producer I Am Sam To Release Debut Single “Sunlight” in US/Canada

The hot new track from Australian DJ/Producer I Am Sam entitled “Sunlight (feat. Michelangelo)” will be released April 4th via Radikal Records.

I Am Sam has already achieved quite a bit in a short amount of time, rising from a local DJ and aspiring music producer to a national DJ, international producer and top notch remixer. I Am Sam has remixed for the likes of Sarah Mcleod, P Money, Men At Work, and Pablo Calamari (Act Yo Age) to name a few, and his track “Touch The Sky” has received support by the likes of David Guetta, Paul Van Dyk, and the Billboard 100. I Am Sam can also be seen on MTV’s reality show, “My Super Sweet World Class.”

Now I Am Sam has set his sights on the US with the release of his single “Sunlight” on Radikal Records. Bombs Away Drop Hot New Single in North America: “Party Bass Feat. The Twins”

The hot new single from Bombs Away, entitled “Party Bass,” is set to drop on the US this April via Radikal Records. The single and the first remix package will be available on iTunes, Amazon, Beatport and other streaming services April 2nd, while the second remix package will be released on April 9th.

With a long list of club smashing hits, including “Swagger,” “Super Soaker,” and “Get Stoopid,” Australia’s Platinum selling DJ/production duo, Bombs Away, have proven they know how to bring the party! Their latest single, “Party Bass (Feat. The Twins),” is certainly no different: a bass line driven, bouncy track that’s already shaping up to be this summer’s party anthem.

LA Based DJ Antoine Becks Releases First Single “Life Of The Wild” as Solo Artist

Antoine Becks’ debut single “Life Of The Wild” is scheduled for release in North America on Radikal Records on March 26th.

After a decade of collaborative dance releases, Los Angeles based DJ and producer Antoine Becks is now ready to strike on his own. His new single, “Life Of The Wild” is his first effort as a solo artist. The complete single package, which includes the original, radio and instrumental mixes is set for release in North America on Radikal Records and is available now for download on http://radikal.com. “Life Of The Wild” will also be available for purchase on iTunes, Beatport and other major music streaming services on March 26th.

Antoine Becks, while new as a solo artist, is certainly no rookie. With his previous live act, Second Sun, Antoine Becks has performed at some of the biggest clubs and festivals all over the world. He is the voice behind global dance hits such as Sharam’s “Party All The Time” and Second Sun’s collaboration with Paul Van Dyk on “Crush,” which he also wrote and produced. “Crush” also appeared on the Paul Van Dyk’s Grammy nominated album “Reflections.”

Antoine Becks lends his own vocals on his latest track as well. Being a classically trained multi-instrumentalist, Becks is uniquely talented in his genre. He is the only international DJ to perform live vocals during his sets, creating epic live moments at every show. “Antoine’s utter enthusiasm gets your feet off the floor. Donots Limited Edition Screen Printed 2013 US Tour Posters Now Available From OK! Good Records

To commemorate the first official US tour of the successful German punk band, Donots, US record label OK! Good Records has commissioned and printed a special limited edition screen printed Donots poster, available for purchase now on http://okgoodrecords.com.

German, punk influenced, pop rock band, Donots, have nine full-length albums under their belt, have earned a solid reputation in Europe amongst music fans and bands alike, and have even toured with some big US names such as Green Day, Blink 182, Weezer and NoFX. However, even with all their success, the Donots have yet to tour in the United States. That is until now.

The first official Donots US tour has been long awaited and over due but is finally coming to pass in 2013. The band will start their tour on the West Coast in early March in support of Flogging Molly. The Donots then plan to finish the first leg playing a few dates with Anti-Flag before hopping over to the East Coast to headline some shows in the New York area.

To commemorate this monuments event, US record label, OK! Good Records, has commissioned a limited run of beautiful, four color, screen printed Donots “Wake The Dogs” tour posters. Only 500 were printed in this collectible and limited edition. Designed by Rocket & Wink, and printed in Minneapolis, MN by Burlesque Designs, the posters measure 13″ by 20″ and are printed on 100 lb cover weight, cougar white paper.
